Trustee Aretha Burns
Hello Residents, Family, Friends, and Neighbors.
It's an honor to introduce myself as newly appointed Trustee Aretha Burns of the Village of Sauk Village. With this appointment I have inherited the Public Service Committee.
I'm the wife of Jeffery Burns of 28 years. We have 3 wonderful children Glorea, Jeffery Jr. Justice and 4 beautiful grandchildren. Our family have been Residents of Sauk Village for 24 years. It's been a pleasure growing and living amongst some of the greatest people in the region we affectionately refer to as the "Village."
My husband and I enjoyed a successful career operating Exquisite Childcare Training & Development, in Sauk Village, from 1999-2021. It has truly been a loving and rewarding experience. My husband and I, more affectionately known as "Mrs. Aretha and Mr. JJ" loved every child immensely. We are honored to have touched the lives of so many families for the past 22-years. Providing support and help to the residents of the "Village" through our childcare services will forever leave an invaluable impression in our hearts forever.
As the "Resident's" newly appointed Trustee I want and intend to bring that same Intensity, dedication, and vision to our "Village." I ask that every "Residents" reach out to your public servants. The Mayor, Trustee Burns, Trustee Williams, Trustee Jasinski, Trustee Grant, Trustee Coleman, and Trustee Bell concerning all the services you need. I welcome and encourage all Residents to communicate your needs for streetlights and potholes, streets, and business to be cleaned and repaired.
It's equally Imperative to EXPRESS YOUR DESIRE TO SEE PROGRAMS & SERVICES, brought to Sauk Village. The resources and services that will help Our Families, Our Children, Our Schools, and Our Village grow and become that example for all to see and other communities to follow.
